Frequently asked questions
Can I use a photo of my signature on paper?
Yes. Choose Photo and pick a picture of your signature on plain white paper. The paper background is removed, so only the ink appears on the document.
Is this a legal digital signature (DSC)?
No. This adds a picture of your handwritten signature. Some offices need a Class 3 DSC or Aadhaar eSign, so check what they ask for.
Will it remember my signature next time?
Yes, if “Remember on this device” is on. It is saved only in this browser, and you can change the signature or turn this off at any time.
Can I add the date and my name next to the signature?
Yes. Use Date to place today's date in DD/MM/YYYY format, and Name/text to type your name, designation or place.
Can I sign on more than one page?
Yes. Tap every place you want to sign, on any page, and all of them are added in one download.
Can I move or remove a signature after placing it?
Yes. Use Move to drag or resize it, select it and tap the delete button to remove it, or use Undo.
Can I type my signature instead of drawing it?
Yes. Choose Type, enter your name and pick one of three handwriting styles. Drawn, typed and photo signatures can all be in black or blue ink.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is processed inside your browser on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for Aadhaar, PAN, bank statements and other private documents.
