How do I make every page of my PDF A4 size?
Choose A4 and tap the button. Every page is scaled to fit A4 and centred, keeping its proportions, which helps when a portal or printer insists on A4.
Will my content be stretched or cut off when resizing?
No. Content is scaled evenly to fit inside the new page, so nothing is stretched or cut, and text stays text. Pages with a different shape get some white space at the sides or top and bottom.
Can I trim the dark borders from a scanned PDF?
Yes. Use Trim each edge to cut the same amount, up to 40 mm, off all four sides. You can combine it with a page size to fit the trimmed page onto A4.
Can I crop just one side or a custom area of the page?
No. Trimming removes the same amount from every edge of every page. Cropping a single side or a drawn area is not supported.
Is the trimmed part deleted from the file?
No. It is hidden in every PDF viewer but still inside the file. To truly remove private details, use Redact PDF.
Will landscape pages be turned into portrait A4?
No. Orientation follows each page, so landscape pages become landscape A4 and portrait pages become portrait A4.
Can I add a white border so my printer doesn't cut off the edges?
Yes. When resizing to A4, Letter or Legal, choose a white border of 5, 12 or 20 mm. The content shrinks slightly to fit inside it.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is processed inside your browser on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for Aadhaar, PAN, bank statements and other private documents.
