Frequently asked questions

Will the text on the PowerPoint slides be editable?

No. Each slide is a picture of the PDF page, so it looks exactly like the original but the text on it cannot be edited. You can add your own text boxes on top.

What are the speaker notes for?

When "Copy page text into speaker notes" is on, the text of each page is placed in that slide's notes. You can copy the words from there or read them while presenting.

Will my fonts, colours and layout stay the same?

Yes, because every slide is an image of the page. Nothing moves or changes font, and the slide size follows the shape of your PDF pages.

How many slides can it make from one PDF?

One slide for every page, with no fixed limit. Long PDFs are processed in batches with short pauses so your phone does not run out of memory.

Does the PPT file open in Google Slides or Keynote?

Yes. It is a normal .pptx file, so it opens in PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote and WPS Office.

Why are the slides a little soft when I zoom in?

Pages are saved as JPG pictures at up to 150 DPI to keep the file a sensible size. That is sharp on a projector or screen, but very small print may look soft when zoomed in a lot.

Why would I convert a PDF into a PowerPoint at all?

It is handy when someone sends a deck only as a PDF and you need to present it, add slides, reorder pages or write on top of them in PowerPoint or Google Slides.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is processed inside your browser on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for Aadhaar, PAN, bank statements and other private documents.

Is it free? Do I need to sign up?

It is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.
