Frequently asked questions
Can I convert my bank statement PDF to Excel?
Yes. The tool reads the rows and columns from the text positions, which suits bank statements, price lists and similar simple tables. Check the preview of page 1 before you download.
Will amounts like ₹1,23,456.78 work as numbers in Excel?
Yes. Amounts with Indian or international comma grouping, and with ₹, Rs or INR in front, are saved as real numbers you can add up. Account numbers with leading zeros or very long IDs stay as text so they are not changed.
My statement runs over many pages. Can I get it in one sheet?
Yes. Turn on "All pages in one sheet" to stack every page into a single sheet. Leave it off to get one sheet per page.
Can I convert a scanned or photographed statement to Excel?
Not directly, because a scan has no text to read. Run OCR PDF first and convert the searchable PDF it gives you, then check the columns carefully, as scans are less tidy.
Why are some columns merged or shifted in my spreadsheet?
Columns are found from the gaps between words, so merged cells, wrapped descriptions and tables drawn only with lines can confuse it. The data is all there, but you may need to tidy a few cells in Excel.
Is converting better than copying and pasting from the PDF?
Usually, yes. Copy and paste often puts a whole row into one cell, while this tool splits rows into separate columns and turns amounts into numbers.
Can I open the Excel file in Google Sheets on my phone?
Yes. The output is a standard .xlsx file that opens in Excel, Google Sheets, WPS Office and other spreadsheet apps.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is processed inside your browser on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for Aadhaar, PAN, bank statements and other private documents.
Is it free? Do I need to sign up?
It is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.
