Frequently asked questions
Will my CSS styles be kept in the PDF?
Yes, with “Save as PDF”. It uses your browser's print screen, so styles inside the HTML are kept the way the preview shows them. “Simple PDF” keeps the text, headings, tables and embedded images but not your CSS.
Can I convert a web page by entering its URL?
No. Paste the HTML code or open a saved .html file. To save a live website, open it in your browser and use the browser's own Print > Save as PDF.
Why are the images or fonts from my HTML missing?
Files linked from the internet are blocked by default. Turn on “Load images & styles from the internet” to include them. Images embedded inside the HTML always work.
Does JavaScript in my HTML run?
No. Scripts are switched off for safety, so anything that only appears after JavaScript runs won't be in the PDF.
What is the difference between “Save as PDF” and “Simple PDF”?
“Save as PDF” opens the print screen and keeps your exact styling. “Simple PDF” downloads straight away with selectable text and page numbers, but with plain formatting.
Can I make the HTML PDF landscape or Letter size?
Yes. Pick A4 or Letter and switch on Landscape under Page setup. Landscape applies to “Save as PDF”; “Simple PDF” always comes out portrait.
The print screen didn't open on my phone. What now?
Some phone browsers block printing from the preview. Use “Simple PDF” instead, or open the .html file directly in your browser and print it from there.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is processed inside your browser on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for Aadhaar, PAN, bank statements and other private documents.
Is it free? Do I need to sign up?
It is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.
