Frequently asked questions
Can I convert an old .xls file?
No. Only .xlsx and .csv files can be opened. Save the file as .xlsx in Excel or Google Sheets first, then convert it here.
My workbook has several sheets. What happens to them?
You pick one sheet at a time from the Sheet list and convert it. Hidden sheets are skipped. To get every sheet in one file, convert each one and join them with Merge PDF.
My spreadsheet is too wide and gets cut off. What can I do?
Columns are narrowed to fit the page width and long text wraps inside the cell. Sheets with more than six columns start in Landscape, and you can also lower the text size.
Does it keep cell colours, bold text and merged cells?
Yes. Fill colours, bold and italic text, alignment and merged cells are kept. The PDF draws its own neat grid lines and uses its own font, so your exact borders and fonts may look different.
Are charts and pictures in my Excel file included?
No. Only the cell data is converted. For a chart, take a screenshot or export it as an image and use JPG to PDF.
Will my formulas show up in the PDF?
The PDF shows each formula's result as saved in the file, not the formula itself. Dates, percentages and common number formats like ₹ with Indian commas are shown the way the cells are formatted.
Will hidden rows and columns appear in the PDF?
No. Hidden rows, columns and sheets are left out, so the PDF matches what you see in Excel. With “First row is a header” on, the header row repeats at the top of every page.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is processed inside your browser on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for Aadhaar, PAN, bank statements and other private documents.
Is it free? Do I need to sign up?
It is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.
