Frequently asked questions
Can I resize a photo to 3.5 × 4.5 cm for a passport-size photo?
Yes. Switch the unit to cm and enter 3.5 and 4.5. Pixels, cm, mm and inches are all supported, and physical sizes are turned into pixels at the DPI you set.
What DPI should I use?
300 DPI is the default and works well for printing. If your form gives the size in pixels, choose Pixels and the DPI doesn't matter.
My photo is a different shape from the size I need. What happens?
Unlock the aspect ratio, then choose “Crop to fill” to trim the edges, or “Fit inside” to keep the whole photo with white bars.
Can I resize my signature to 140 × 60 pixels under 20 KB?
Yes. Choose Pixels, unlock the aspect ratio, enter 140 and 60, and type 20 in Maximum file size. Always check the exact size your form asks for.
Can I set exact dimensions and a KB limit together?
Yes. Add a Maximum file size. If the photo still doesn't fit, its pixel size is reduced and a note tells you the final size.
Can I make a small photo bigger?
Yes, you can enter a larger size, but enlarging can't add detail, so a small photo may look soft. Extremely large sizes are blocked because a phone can't process them.
What format is the resized photo?
JPG, with the print resolution saved inside the file so it prints at the right physical size.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is processed inside your browser on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for Aadhaar, PAN, bank statements and other private documents.
Is it free? Do I need to sign up?
It is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.
